About Seneca Falls Rotary

Seneca Falls Rotary ClubFounded in 1922, the Seneca Falls Rotary Club was formed by 28 Charter members
founded . Presently the club has 54 members (44 men and 10 women), 31 honorary
Rotarians and 124 Paul Harris Fellows.

The Seneca Falls Rotary Club and Foundation is active in supporting a multitude of services on a local, regional, national and international level. Some projects include Dictionary Project (a dictionary to keep for all 3rd graders in Seneca County), Camp Onseyawa, Mynderse Academy scholarships and awards, Project Graduation, Seneca Falls Library, Seneca County Youth Bureau, United Way, House of concern, Seneca Falls Music Boosters, Seneca Falls Community Band, March of Dimes, Educator Award, Partners for Children, Community Christmas Project, EMS, Rotary Polio Plus campaign, Shelter Boxes (11 awarded to date) for disaster relief, American Red Cross, and the Paul Harris Foundation.

Proceeds from the music fest will be used to support Clean-Water projects in Malawi and Honduras in addition to local projects of the Seneca Falls Rotary Club.

In Malawi, the Seneca Falls Rotary Club is sponsoring a program called “Village to Village” which underwrites programs that bring clean water into villages, dirty water out, and water for crop irrigation.

The Seneca Falls Rotary club also supports a variety of programs including scholarships to local schools, the Dictionary Project, and local literacy projects. In combination with other upstate NY Rotary clubs, we sponsor Camp Onseyawa, a summer program where developmentally disabled children get to the summer camp experience.
